For years this chord progression was always one I would return to. Eventually I went out on a limb and asked my friend Anna if she'd want to collab on it. Thankfully she was up for it and we spent about a half hour or so molding a melody together — essentially her singing stuff and then me being like, "yeah!" and "cool...what if that last note was this one instead". Simple and fun. Following that session the idea was that I'd work on words buuuuut I chickened out in a way because her voice is just so awesome and y'know, like, why ruin a good thing? Laziness yields great results every now and then.
